You can Strength train and workout with weights with out getting big muscles!  Strength Training actually helps you lose weight!  It will help you to burn more calories even while resting.  This can also help keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels low.  Stronger arms will also help you with everyday tasks such as lifting grandchildren, or carrying groceries.
